Each Zipwake Series S or E Kit Box comes complete with all the parts and software needed to install an easy to use Dynamic Trim Control System, including one pair of fast-acting interceptors.
Choose between a standard Kit Box and a Kit Box for Integration, which includes an Integrator Module for hard-wired system integration and wireless communication.

With 25 different models of interceptors, in 6 different shapes across the Series S & Series E Systems there is a configuration fit for almost any boat. A Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control System allows for up to 6 interceptors per system.

Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control System allows you to connect to it via three different methods, allowing you to choose what suits you best, the standard S or E series controller, the Mini Controller, or to a multifunctional display via the Zipwake Integrator Module.

For boats up to 50 ft

Slim, compact, and precise – Series S PRO interceptors feature a 30 mm blade stroke and are ideal for boats up to 50 feet, especially where transom space is limited.

The Integrator Module seamlessly connects the Zipwake system to compatible MFDs from different manufacturers and even connects wirelessly to smart devices, keeping dashboards free of clutter. Just slightly bigger than a postcard, the discrete Integrator Module is easy to install behind the helm/dash, on the flybridge or in the engine room. It’s waterproof and comes with a special ethernet connector collar that makes sealing standard ethernet cables easy. A single cable connects the unit to a MFD.

Interceptors

Zipwake Interceptors are the first-ever modular design made for mass production, the interceptors are durable, and affordable. Every Zipwake interceptor has been meticulously engineered for efficiency and reliability, minimizing the risk of costly maintenance and downtime. Interceptor blade actuation takes place by way of a calibration-free submersible electric servo within the interceptor unit.

Installation is made easy with an integral mounting plate and the option of a concealed or above-waterline, self-sealing, thru-hull cable fitting. The preferred mounting option is achieved by simply routing the servo cable differently. Each interceptor comes with the thru-hull cable fitting, cable covers and a practical drill template.

Series S Interceptors

Durable, affordable and perfectly adapted to any planing or semi-planing boat between 6 m and 15 m (20-50ft).

Series S Straight Interceptors

Straight interceptors come in a range of sizes including the following models IT300-S, IT450-S, IT600-S and IT750-S for modular use.

Series S Chine Interceptors

Chine interceptors provide a unique means of maximizing pitch and roll motion control by utilizing the furthest outboard surfaces of the hull bottom for lift generation. As a rule, the lift effect of a chine interceptor matches the lift of a straight interceptor one size larger, making them the go-to choice when selecting interceptors.

Series S Intermediate Interceptors

When space between multiple outboards or sterndrives is tight, an intermediate interceptor offers a viable alternative for additional pitch and roll motion control not possible with a straight interceptor without degrading propeller performance. Thanks to their special blade shape, intermediate interceptors generate a narrower trail, thus mitigating propeller inflow disturbance and even allowing installation between outboards mounted at their minimum offset.

Series S V-Shaped Interceptors

V-shaped interceptors for centerline mounting are perfect for filling the gap between twin outboards or sterndrives, as well as dual propeller tunnels.

The four V-shaped models cover deadrise angles effectively between 11 to 24 degrees.

V-shaped centerline mounted interceptors can be included in new installations, or retro-fitted to already installed systems.

Series E Interceptors

Series E is a family of large, fast-acting interceptors that includes one round model, four straight, three tunnel and four chine models for boats up to 30 m (100 ft) in length.

Series E Straight Interceptors

Straight interceptors come in a wide range of sizes including the following models IT400-E, IT600-E, IT800-E and IT1000-E for modular use.

Series E Tunnel Interceptors

Tunnel-shaped interceptors provide the perfect lift-force solution for hulls with propeller tunnels. In contrast to straight interceptors, the tunnel interceptor’s constant radius curvature allows mounting above the propeller tunnel to fully or partially use the otherwise unutilized part of the beam for lift generation.

The three tunnel models with different radii, R500, R600 and R800, make sure that most large boat propeller tunnels can be covered with negligible deviation between hull and interceptor curvature. Tunnel interceptors can be included in new installations, or retro-fitted to systems already installed.

Series E Chine Interceptors

Chine interceptors provide a unique means of maximizing pitch and roll motion control by utilizing the furthest outboard surfaces of the hull bottom for lift generation.

As a rule, the lift effect of a chine interceptor matches the lift of a straight interceptor one size larger mounted inboard of the chine, making them the go-to choice when selecting interceptors.

Chine interceptors are particularly useful when transom space is limited abeam of swim platform lifts, waterjets, surface drives, or outboards.

Series E Round Interceptors

The curved interceptor provides a solution for vessels with convex hulls, complementing Zipwake’s extensive range of straight, tunnel, V-shaped, and chine interceptors.

The possibility of rounded hulls having a curved interceptor results in faster and more precise trim control. With the latest addition of the curve interceptor, we can now provide an efficient solution that fits virtually any hull.

Upgrade with Adaptor Plates

Zipwake Adaptor Plates are designed to minimize transom preparations required for upgrading to Zipwake Series S on boats already equipped with an older similarly sized interceptor system and/or which have transoms with protruding bottom plates.

The adaptor plates allow reuse of the existing screw hole pattern of the removed interceptor system and they seal the previous holes for thru-hull fittings. Because the Adaptor Plates perfectly match the mounting holes, installation of the Zipwake Series S interceptors is completely straightforward.
